I'm thinking it is an inguinal hernia. I'm thinking this would end up disqualifying me. Would it be a good idea to get it checked out with another doctor before I get the DQ letter from dodmerb? I'm trying to ...

So the kid's go to go to the hospital later today for a scan after his paedo discovered yesterday that he could have an inguinal hernia. OK, I've looked on the Intarweb and they all seem to say its a minor procedure, home on the same day, nothing to worry about. But all I can think of right now is I'm stuck in the office while some stranger in a white coat determines whether to knock my baby ...

Hello, Without going into too much detail..I had double inguinal hernia repair surgery in 2003. I believe it was done with mesh. I have not had any problems with them but I was wondering if that type of thing will show up on an x-ray for a physical examination....any help is appreciated. Thanks

(Rowe et al, pp ...

Thanks for the reply! I had a follow up appt. with my surgeon yesterday and he said that the minor swelling and the bruising are normal and should slowly continue to improve. He too said that it can take a while for it to completely go away, but he didn't seem concerned with my condition, and from what I've read on here about other people's problems after this surgery, I seem to ...

I had inguinal hernia surgery 3 times in a two year period - 1998-2000. I had the left side done and then the right side done. I felt a tightness after the second one and the Dr. went back in and said something was too tight and he fixed it. the tightness went away. However, ever since then my penis is continually drawing inward and is extremely uncomfortable. It just doesn't hang the way it used...

To Howie and all: I am doing much better. Dr. Peter S. Billing is not involved in any explant study. Dr. Peter Billing is somebody that will listen to you.
