Hi. Has anyone here had any swelling above their c-section incision scar during a later pregnancy? My swelling runs the length of the scar (horizontal), is skin-colored, and is slightly more swollen on the right side than the left side. This is my third pregnancy, currently 6 weeks LMP, will (hopefully) be my third c-section, and I have endometriosis. I know I have adhesions, but I cannot...

Maybe I'm just a baby, or I don't have good skin, but my c-section incision STILL HURTS!!! I noticed after a friend of my had her surgery that her recovery was amazingly better than mine. She was walking normal after a week while I was still bent over at 2.weeks sleeping on t recliner. Now I'm relating that to maybe as to why 9 months later it's still extremely tender. I've recently seen some pics of a brachio from a gal here at 3+ weeks out. And her incision was incredible! The BIG difference is that the incision appears to have been made all along the lower part of the arm at the "exact point" of the bottom of the arm as if one were to extend out their arms as though on a cross. So, when looking at the arms from either the front OR the back and with the ...

Had Callie spayed last Thursday and everything's been going well. Today will be the end of day #4 after surgery, and she's more playful than ever. I can't seem to restrict her activity level very well, as she won't stop jumping . Her incision is small, and it looks good, no oozing and it's not showing any s/s of infection. The stiches are on the inside as well, and she's got the cone on so ...

( Hi folks. I have a weird question. I'm almost 11 months out and I've noticed a very odd, sporadic reaction I'm having on one of my incision sites. Let me first say that all my incision sites are long healed over and the scars are working on fading at this point. I had lap VSG and the incision site that falls right under my left breast occassionally gets a small welt on it. I think...

Hi!! I am almost 4 weeks post op and my incision looks great and appears to be healing nicely but I have a concern... The area around my incision burns to touch and feels like the skin is burning off. I had the surgical tape removed and at first, I thought it was this tape residue that was causing this pain. I'm allergic to band aids and tape residue tends to burn my skin ...

My poor girl has a nasty two inch incision. I was going to keep her in my bedroom away from the kitten where she could rest, but she wasn't having it. I went to petco and bought some Natural Balance and started the switch today. Cammy is eating a little bit. Sleeping a lot, you can tell she feels really bad.
