I want to set up something for the spring, but I first would like an idea of when things get too busy for people. When does racing season start? When would be a good time to set something up that wouldn't conflict with other events? Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi, I will be making a trip north in the springtime to photograph waterfalls in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Most of the settings will be under deep forest canopy, shot just after sunrise, and hoping to capture full range of colors at slow shutter speeds. I DO NOT go to automatic carwashes at all... Not the brush ones and NOT the power wash ones... The pressure of that water is enough to scratch up your paint whether you see it right away or not...
