As any of you who own a 5th Gen prelude, you know about the immobilizer. Hi all, I have a BMW 316 compact 97 1,6 petrol. Battery replaced and car not starting after it. Recovery guy said it is the immobilizer, but he doesnt know how to reset it. starter works fine tested. But when i do the full turn with the key nothing happens. Battery charged. Anybody ho knows how to reset or disable the immob. plzz. Thanks. any ideas just post

I have an 04 type-s and I currently have the Immobilizer function off. My question is.... Is there some one who knows how to reprogram it and tell me how, or is it a dealer process only. The acura dealership here wants to charge me 150 bucks. I dont have that cash flow right now. help anyone?? thanks

I have an alarm fitted on my bike but when fitting it there where 2 wires left, coming from the control box for the immobilizer, but for some reason there is no power at all coming from either. does any1 have any insight on how this works? cheers

I have used the search feature but i have been lead to dead ends. Can any one tell me if this sound like an immobilizer problem? I'm about to replace my stock ecu with stand alone after market, I know a lot of guys here have hydra, AEM, MoTec, etc, I wanna know if the immobilizer will still work and if there are some codes/settings that the dealer needs to do before the stand alone ecu will function. thanks in advance

Hello, yes I once new how to do this and what it took to switch from say your stock rom over to another rom without disabling your immobilizer. There was a post or thread about it but I can't find it. I have a 01 kia shuma 1.6. The IMMO light on dashboard doesn't always illuminate on ignition, at a guess i think its a immobilizer light. When IMMO is not lit engine will not start . Any ideas 4 a quick fix or location of immobilizer box?
