I've been tasked with converting Tif into another format, but i made the mistake of not writing it down - it was 'asp vortex' or 'esp viper' or something like that... i realize its not much to go on but if anyone can pinpoint it i'd be grateful.

Hi, I just purchased a slide/negative scanner as a gift for my dad. He has a very large collection of slides, and the scanner (and his time) was much cheaper than having the slides converted by a service. I was playing with the scanner, scanning and saving images as TIF format, then importing them into LR 2.1. I assigned keywords to the images during the import, but when I viewed the ...

I use Photoshop CS 2. I have noticed that a lot of professionally designed websites use image files for menus. Their saved image fonts display in my browsers (FF and IE) as exceptionally crisp and clear. When I try to create my own menus using fonts saved as .gif or .jpg they do not appear as professional. I have tried the "smooth" and "crisp" features in Photoshop and still no luck....

I have Aperture on my G5 tower as well as my Macbook Pro. A year ago I copied a project from the G5 to my Macbook Pro. The project was fine on both computers. Two days ago I was in Aperture on my G5 and I noticed that not all but some of the pictures in that project threw up the magenta screen with the Unsupported Image Format message. Interestingly, those very same pictures on the...

Hello, please somebody help me. This is the weirdest thing that happened to me. I upgraded from Aperture 1.XX (latest update on that version) to Aperture 2.0 (I now have the latest version as well, including all Raw's updates). When I upgraded, all the pictures in my library (projects, albums, etc.) before that date, got the brown square Unsupported Image Format. I shoot with Nikon (...
