I pulled the ignition coil out of the XJ because I'd pretty much eliminated every other likely cause of the irregular/infrequent misfire, the engine would start and run for ages without a "hiccup" then as it approached normal operating temperature 90~100c the surging/chugging at light load would begin & disappear under hard acceleration only to reappear on light engine loading... After ...

I have one Ignition Coil taken from a 97 318ti (M44). It was replaced during a troubleshooting of a misfire problem. It was not the problem, but cannot return the new part. It is missing the cosmetic top plastic cover. $50 shipped.

The electrical system gremlin that has apparently plagued other 06-07 Bonnie owners has also struck my 07 Bonnie. My local dealer has been very accommodating and has, to date, replaced the pick-up coil, ignition coil & ignitor (replaced in that order on separate visits). They have also informed me that the air-gap has been set to the new spec (.8mm), the carbs are balanced and the seat does ...

Going over the wiring on my 69 T120 and noted that the two new coils installed do not have + or _ markings. One of the wiring screws has a #1 marked beside it. Would this be the + marking?

old thread (ignition coil), new question When I take my a4 in for the coil replacement, is there anything I should be aware of? Meaning, are the audi dealers pushing anything else to be done because of the coil change? Thanks Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!...

Just purchased the TB 88cc kit with race head and wondered whether this should be added on also. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Super......

Up for grabs is the ever popular Crane Hi-6 ignition with matching LX 92 coil. I had this on my XF Falcon with LPG/Petrol and was planning on using it on my turbo set up as well. It ran fine and had a noticable change in tune. Car never missed a beat. I have connected relevant wiring to plugs and the power wire is long and thick and comes with the sale. Also has the conjugate around it as you...
