I was just curious if a 302 ignition system will fit and work on a 102 engine? If it does is it legal in C Mod. I am sure it would not be allowed in a stock class but just curious.

Just wondered if anyone had bothered upgrading to a CDI system, like they use on bikes. for high revving or high cylinder pressure applications. I bought some MoTeC coils, but they are CDI ones. Just wondering whether it's worth forking out for the additional driver unit (which is a fortune from MoTeC) or just sell them on.

Hey guys when I first got my engine, it had Denso Iridiums gapped at .043. I got the car all running right, but it still had a horrible miss. So me and my friends took the plugs out, regapped them to .030 and the car ran great and smooth. This lasted about 4 months and then the car started missing again at the top of the gears. So I went out and bought some NGK BCPR7ES's and gapped them at the ...

Hi, I have not looked under the bonnet. The car started and quickly stalled in wet weather, I just need to know its basic setup to give some advice. I may not get a chance to look under the bonnet. Can anyone tell me what is the likely ignition system in a Nissan Micra on an N plate (does that make it circa 1995?). Is it conventional (i.e. old fashioned) coil, distributor and ...

well i just finished installing an afe intake and bavarian autosport ignition system. I then had my dinan software upgraded to stage 2. There's a noticeable differance, especially with throttle response in higher gears. i went with the afe because it looks nicer than dinan's. my next project will be to install my dinan suspension!

My 1990 C4 idling is erratic when engine is cold. The idle would drop about 300-400 rpm and back to 900-1000 again. This would cycle for about 10-15 mins. I cleaned the ISV, checked vacuum leaks, replaced cap/rotor and airflow meter as well. But the problem was persistent. Valve job just completed 3K miles ago with new plugs/wires. The last mechanic said the car is logging code 41 and 34 and ...

Hi. about a year ago, i bought a homemade turbo kit off CL, and basically slapped it on my motor. no mods to the motor at all, besides lower CR, but thats it. i had it as 8lbs of boost, and it ran OK. it was my DD. it had a pretty noticable lag, most likely due to the long intake runners. it was a draw thru set up, where the turbo sucked from the carb. well about a month ago, the carb ...

I would also upgrade to a hotter coil as well. Another option would be switching to a HEI distributor from a newer 250 6 cyl.
