Hello, my Whirlpool IceMaker model #GS6SHAXKB01 is not working. It seems as if no water is going to the unit. There are no LED Lights, no water and no spinning parts. However, I can pour water into the ice maker and it will freeze and drop the ice.

There is water comming from the door when you fill a glass but none going to the ice maker. I checked the water lines and none crimped. Could this be a water filter problem, if so, is it hard to replace.

I have a Kenmore 106.55603400. About a year and half ago the ice maker went out and I replaced the motor assembly (part # 46 106 W10122536 1), which did the trick. A couple of weeks ago I heard it growling, looked inside, and the ejector blades appeared to be frozen (in ice) in the 6:00 position. I removed the ice maker and the remaining ice, hoping it would free things up, but it didn't. ...

Hello, I searched the forums w/o success...so I seek help. I have a GE Profile model PFSS5NFXBSS bottom freezer. For some reason when the ice maker fills some of the water is not making it into the cube maker but going behind the tray and onto the bottom of the freezer. Over time this makes a ice block and makes it very hard to open door. No problems with ice maker off. It ...

I have a four year old KitchenAid side by side with an ice maker. The Ice maker stopped working about 18 months ago. I followed advice on this site given to folks with similar problems. I replaced the ice maker motor. The ice maker worked for about a year and a half. It stopped working again about a month ago. I replaced the motor again. This time the maker “harvested” about 3 trays of ...

We have a GE Profile Arctica #PSS25MGNACC. The ice maker is freezing up where the water comes in (the chute - not in the tube). It did this a few weeks ago and we defrosted the freezer and everything seems fine. However, it is doing it again and water is leaking and freezing up down the back wall of the freezer. Obviously we need a new part...can you tell me what we need to order? Would it...

We have a GREAT side-by-side, VERY large capacity, and no desire to replace it with a newer model, but have had a chronic problem from the beginning. The icemaker has a buildup of melded ice cubes on the far right, back, so that when the pile gets high enough, the rocker arm that controls whether to make ice or stop the process is forced into the "no ice" position. We can empty the ice maker ...

I have a Kitchenaid ksrg25kwh05 side by side refrigerator and my ice maker quit and I am not sure if it is a coincidence to me shutting off the water to the house and not shutting off the ice maker, but it seems soon after that it quit making ice. I have put water into the ice maker and it took 24 hours before the ice dispensed into the container so I am not sure if this is a water valve problem ...

I bought a fridge with an ice maker but I won't use the ice maker. If I remove the ice maker, what do I cover up the hole with? On models that don't have ice maker, there is a plastic panel that is installed, but I don't see this on any of the parts diagrams on Whirlpools website. I have this model: G9RXXFMWS Freezer On Top Refrigerators G9RXXFMWS from Whirlpool Home Appliances

Water valve & ice-maker. When turning on the ice maker switch, the valve makes a noise and lets a very little bit of water in. When it is left on the light blinks green, but nothing happens. We turned off the ice maker until we find out if the valve is defective. what else should we do to isolate the problem? Can you give me the part numbers/names that I would need to order? Thank you

My GE ice maker isn't making ice. The shut-off arm keeps raising up to the shut-off position all by itself, in other words, there is no ice being made lifting it. I gently brought the arm down to the on position (MT ice tray position) when I come back to check on it, the lever is half way raised, with no ice. I was feeling around where the arm connects and got burned from the housing. What do you...

My original Ice maker was over filling on occasion. I brought someone in who said I needed a new one. Therefore I ordered one WR30X10093/ WR30X10102 and figured I'd give it a wirl myself first. I installed the new icemaker and it is making ice however it is also filling my ice bucket up with water which of course then freezes into a block. I had to use the power cord extension that ...
