Im wondering what causes the ISC to go bad. I recently replaced mine, and a week later, I had the p0505(malfunctioning isc code) again. I emailed the seller and he sent me a new one. Same thing happened a while later. Those first two were the tan kind. So then I emailed the guy again, and this time he sent me a black one. This one worked for almost a month until it threw the same code again...

I'm getting ready to buy my first lowering device and have been shopping around. One of the sites lists an ISC port-a-wrap for $125.00 and a buckingham port-a-wrap III for $150. Notice how the first time it chatters pulling the pintle into the ISC. That's the ECU rehoming the ISC because it doesn't know where the pintle is, so it "oversteps" to make sure that it's all the way out (it's all the way into the ISC but all the why out as far as air bypassing via the ISC). I'm having an intermittent electrical problem with my rear wiper...When i put the rear wiper on sometimes the rear defroster decides to go on instead...the wiper wont move at all and the defrost light will come on ...Also i was wondering if a 91+ ISC motor will work on a 90 car...The harness is different than the one im replacing it with...Resistance is 28-32 ohms if i remember between terminals ...
