I was asked yesterday to fly to LA in a few weeks to do a photo shoot and story for Ironman Magazine on a special issue on BBers 40 and over. It will come out in January. Well, it's all lined up! I'm flying out Sept 17th. Drive to Palms Springs the 18th for a noon to 4 PM shoot. THEN EAT! Gonna stay with my brother who works in Long Beach. I'm excited AND nervous..... I am in training for my first half ironman but really could do with some help re fuelling for this event, bearing in mind that altho I have many many years of running behind me tri's are relatively new to me and I am over 50! Any suggestions would be helpful.
