Why is it when I upload photos to Flickr from iPhoto then delete them on iPhoto they are deleted on my Flickr. The point of putting them on Flickr is to save precious space on my hard drive! I can of course directly upload using Flickr uploader but still would like to know if there is a way of using iPhoto to upload to Flickr without loosing my photos. Thanks

I have recently been spending a great deal of time playing with Iphoto such as adding keywords, rating photos, making titles, manipulating photos. Unfortunately, after hours of playing, I find out the next time I open the application, that changes were not saved. I am trying to give each photo metadata to be able to sort later. What gives? Does having my library on an external drive have ...

I created an iPhoto book and placed most of the photos before realizing there was one more photo I wanted to put in it. I know I'm supposed to be able to drag and drop it onto the book in the "Source" list and have done so in the past, but it's not letting me do that anymore. I even have a free space ready for the photo, so it's not because I've exceeded a limit. Has anyone ever had ...

Well I've had my mbp for since about the end of this summer and although it's great, the one program that I really want to use is Iphoto. The only problems is that every time I create an album, Iphoto duplicates all my photos. I see this as rather pointless and I was wondering how to disable the function. Thank you in advance as always =] Happy Holidays =]]]

Or maybe I'm missing something. I'm trying to view pictures on an external hard disk using iPhoto on my laptop, this seem impossible unless I import all the files to my laptop. Can this be done?

I have a smart album that shows me all the photos that do not have an associated face. But many of these are objects or scenery. Can I tell iPhoto to not bother looking for a face in such photos? Also, can I delete a face from the cork board that I am no longer interested in? Thanks! ...

I just received the calendars I made up in iPhoto. To say I am thrilled with them would not begin to describe how happy I am. The calendar is beautiful. I am a photographer, so I am really particular how my photos will look in print. They are perfect, the same clarity as on my own monitor. Colors are perfect. The paper Apple uses is beautiful and of nice weight. I have seen calendars ...

What photoshop programs are the pastel artists out there using? I'm looking for a new program for manipulating my photos. I have a MacBook Pro which has iphoto but I want something more sophisticated but easy to use. Something that will let me post pictures and galleries on wet canvas easily as well. Help please!

Yes ! Finally I can shoot in RAW without Aperture flipping me the bird. This is what shows up in the Software Updater: Apple has released Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 2.7, software that extends RAW image compatibility for selected Canon and Nikon cameras and Aperture 2, iPhoto ’08 and iPhoto ’09. The software introduces RAW support for six cameras: Canon EOS-...
