After configuring the ipfilter policy to deny telnet, I no longer can access my fiber switch via web or ssh as well. I have a 48k Director running firmware 6.30b. How can I resolve this issue?

Is there anyway to change the IPfilter from true or false with the use of the scheduler. I have the need to not block any ip address ranges when in seeding mode but block all ranges when downloading. I want to be able to set downloads from say 8am to 12pm at downloading (ipfilter enabled) and to seeding from 2am to 8am Seeding (ipfilter disabled). Is this actually possible? I can do this ...

Need to set up ipfilter on Solaris 10. All the systems behind the Solaris system are using the 192.168.0.0/24 network and have a one-to-one routeable address assigned to it. So, I set up NAT using the bimap keyword, one for each pairing. My question is about when does the NATing occur? That is, in my block and pass rules, do I use the "NATed" address or the 192.168 address? Thanks! ...

Hi, Something that may be useful to the community as well as me, would it be possible to add an option to the scheduler that enables the IPFilter on one of the existing options now or have it as an entirely new option. So it would read Full Speed, Limited, Turn Off, Seeding Only, IPFilter. If not an entirely new option then the option on say the Limited setting. Thanks Az

SOLVED! It was a buggy patch of ipfilter (141505-05 on x86, 141506-05 on SPARC). Backing out patch with patchrm is supposed to do the trick. Well this little patch has really cause me a lot of grief, we were down for 1/2 day last week when I applied it on our mail / calendar server. According to sunsolve, it was supposed to be withrawn on 18th, but i'm sure I applied it this last time on ...
