Now when the PCs and printers get back on the network they get DHCP addresses, but nothing will register in DNS. I ran an ipconfig /registerdns on my own PC, but it still doesn't show up in DNS. Are you sure the system is clean now? If not, go to the Malware Removal forum  and read the 2 announcements at the top of the page. Then follow the instructions to post a Hijack This log and let the experts make sure the system is clean. When that's done, you may need to do a Repair/Reinstall of Windows to fix the damage. OK. I am back after a computer virus. I am trying to get my computer back to where I was. I see no new replies to my ongoing questions. Regardless, I seem to have emails that indicated I had new replies. I see none. The emails prompt me to select a best answer or something. Since there are no new replies, I may as well close off this thread and select a best answer. Thank you Saint19.
