Hi everyone, So, I want to keep an up-to-date list of the machine's ip address(es) and subnet mask(s) in my driver - without having it passed down from user-mode. But I'm having problems tracking down how to do this in Vista etc using the ip helper api (which I understand is recommended for the future). Can anyone advise me here? OK, background. The driver registers for callbacks (...

Hi, We need to change the subnet mask on 500 Windows XP workstations.   We found a VB script on the script center that will change the IP, the subnet mask and default gateway.  We tried modifying and removed the parts that change the IP and default gateway but then the script doesn't work at all.  Is it possible to just change the subnet mask only?  Otherwise, we have to write 500 scripts, ...

I've never used a Draytek, but apart from the subnet masks I'd say so. You need to look at the IP addresses range you've been given. If you have a /29 (8 addresses - less the network, broadcast and router address - leaving 5 usable) then the subnet mask will be 255.255.255.248. If you have a /28 (16 addresses - less the network, broadcast and router address - leaving 13 usable) then ...
