I use iMovie 09 to edit my HD movies recorded on my Canon HFS-100 video camera. I use Toast 10 to burn my movie to DVD. This works GREAT for burning to DVD. The quality far exceeds when I use iDVD. Hi - has anyone experienced iMovie not letting you save an event folder/project folder to an external drive? It seems to see them but has a yellow bang (!) symbol next to it. It is a MyBook drive. I am thinking of buying iLife 08 to get iMOVIE to run on OS 10.4.11 to edit movies recorded in MPEG-4. (I CANNOT UPGRADE TO LEOPARD OR SNOW LEOPARD DUE TO LACK OF BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY). THE COMPUTER IS AN INTEL CORE 2 DUO RUNNING AT 1.83 GHZ with 2 GB of RAM. Will iMOVIE ' 08, run on OS 10.4.11, with the described processor speed and RAM???? Good day, I have a problem, when i try to export an Imovie project into a quicktime file (in HD quality) the program crashes after a few minutes. In the beginning it seems to work, but at the end with only two minutes left, it doesn't continu and the program crashes. I can't figure out why it stops. Could anybody help me out?
