Thinking of migrating from Nildram to IDnet. They seem to offer purely BT Wholesale services (including ADSL2+) but with fairly generous bandwidth allowances. Is anyone here with them? Are they good? Is migrating from LLU to BT Wholesale still a nightmare like it once was?

Hi all, anybody have any info or experiance on how good or bad idnet.com is? Think of moving to them from sky connect bb. They say and i quote this No Throttling We guarantee no throttling, no traffic shaping, no port blocking, and no contention on our network. No contention on our network is achieved by not oversubscribing our broadband services and ensuring that ...

Is there something wrong with the IDNet network today? My ping rates are five times slower than normal, and most websites are extremely slow. J.Neuhoff - MHC Web Design - ClickShopGuide

I am currently using Idnet's Home Max Package. The service is excellent. Any problems are resolved quickly with correspondence usually answered the same working day. The 30GB cap can be a bit tight at times, but generally no problems there either. My only gripe is it costs 25 notes a month. If it isnt possible then I'll stick with Idnet, but are there any realistic alternatives that ...

Hi I'm new to this Forum, but I've been with IDNet for some time now. I just wanted to say that during a fraught house move just before Christmas IDNet made transferring my Broadband an absolute doddle. IOne phone call and five days later my Broadband was up and running at the new address and cancelled at the old one. Along with the free use over the holiday period I am a very...

Yup, same here. They not only arranged and had a new line installed using an Openreach engineer on the day I moved to the new house (I already was an IDNet phone customer and had no intention of going back to BT) plus had my broadband up and running late the same afternoon. A big thank you to Miriam at Customer Service who faultlessly arranged it all and Simon who called that evening...

I've literally just placed my order to migrate back to them. I've been an Idnet customer before and are with Zen at present. My short list was between Idnet and AAISP, but after calling both today and getting some pre-sales info, I felt a lot more happier with IDnet. The "Off-Peak" allowance that IDnet introduced with it's 21CN product line-up shows in my opinion a willingness to be ...

I've been with them for a while, both broadband and phone, had no complaints, they're a bit pricey but tbh not having to deal with BT and having good support is something I am happy to pay for.

In reply to a post by TheHorseman : In reply to a post by Vorlon : As for Be, I ended up politely saying goodbye within a minute as the guy didn't appear to speak English as his first language and communication was far more difficult than it should be. The Be support is in Bulgaria, you must have been unlucky as I have always been able to understand them and they have ...

In reply to a post by Capvermell : In reply to a post by jcym : As she only uses it for e-mail, a bit of browsing and keeping in touch with family and so doesn't need an unlimited package. I do considerably more than that on my home Business speed connection (832kbps upstream sync and 7520kbps downstream sync on a non LLU exchange) with ADSL 24 but still don't manage to ...
