I've only this second realised i built my OS on the raptor with IDE not AHCI. I've been reading up on which is best and it would seem that AHCI is better in SOME tests, but not all and infact looking over and 4 reviews it would seem that it's 50/50. I am unable to use AHCI without reinstalling the OS unless i do some REG crap, or is there a different way? What do you guys think? Shall i ...

??? I installed Win 7 in IDE mode.. now switching to AHCI (which ive been told is better) Windows gets to 'Starting Windows'... then reboots. Any ideas?

Anyone know of anything that would be like a mini programming IDE? Something like Eclipse but obviously not as feature rich. Maybe just some support for color coding of syntax, or possible code completion?

need a 3.5" external HDD enclosure, IDE to eSata The best match I can find is some enclosures with USB/eSata connections that supports both SATA and IDE HDD. Seems better than what I need, but they are so expensive..... I just need something that can make my system boot from a external IDE hard drive...

Hi Blizz! I have two suggestions. It would be really cool if you added a IDE (think VC++) for add-on creation. In this tool you should also be able to publish and download add-ons. So you could start WoW, select "Addon Creation" (or something), make an addon, and then publish it. Or you could browse addons made by other players and download them directly into your WoW. The ioremap return value is an __iomem *, not an integer. Update the private structure to reflect this. While here, remove the typedef for _auide_hwif and just use struct auide_hwif instead as recommended by Documentation/CodingStyle. auide_setup_ports() still needs to cast the regbase back to an integer to correctly setup the io_ports_array.
