I got a chip for my Ranger and don't know which wires are which... IAT or MAF. Which wires are IAT and which wires are MAF? Your reply is MUCH appreciated. I'm just trying to get my truck to run better, the chip was a B-Day present and now I can't install it, lol. Thanks for reading, please reply.
I did the IAT relocate but I never relocated it in the intake tube or the heatshield like most do. I just have it sitting underneath where the cone for the filter is just sitting freely. On my dashhawk it reads -40*. Is that alright? The car runs great and pulls harder than it did before the relocate definately but I'm just wondering if my dashhawk is reading correctly. I took the relocate out ...

I recently did the resistor mod on a friends 03 Matrix with great success. I want to do it on mine, but I have completely different wiring. Could someone tell me which wires on the MAF sensor are for the IAT sensor? Also, is there a spec range available for the resistance at specified temperatures. The 03 took a 32.4K resistor and did the trick. I believe the 09 reading are different. Thanks, ...

I am going to a 1996 Explorer intake in my 1990 Mustang. On the stock intake the IAT is in the lower intake. On the Explorer there is not a provision (hole) for it. Where are people putting the IAT when doing this change?

Hello All, I have a 1990 SSP Mustang and I am switching to an 1996 Explorer intake manifold (upper and lower). There is not a provision for the IAT on the lower intake as is on the stock lower intake. Where do I locate the IAT now? I was thinking in the intake tube (I have a cold air unit) right before the throttle body. Any suggestion would be great. Thanks.

Remember in the old days when Mark Consuelos, Walt Willey and KH Cobb did stand up together? Friday & Saturday nights, Michael E. Knight, Darnell Williams, Vincent Izzary & Rickey Paul Golden will be performing iat Uncke Vinnie's Comedy Club. AMC needs some comic relief.

im going to be changing my inlet manifold during the course of my build but the problem is, my MAP and IAT sensor are mounted on my current manifold but wont be able to on the new manifold. the MAP sensor incorporates the IAT sensor and is circled in this pic: the plan is to fit an STI8 inlet manifold and my options are to either cut into the manifold to house the current sensor or fit ...

I have a 95 WRX . I understand that the Simtek ecu comes with a base map set up for GM MAP sensor,GM Boost Control Solenoid, and GM open air element IAT. with those who are running the GM IAT,where are you locating this ? Intake or pre throttle charge pipe? Has any one used a differt IAT (subaru)?that is a closer match or is the GM 1 fine?

This is a 200 mile old megasquirt ems with built in 3 bar map sensor and also comes with coolant and iat sensors as well new. I had this on my porsche 944 turbo which made 370whp on 20# of boost etc, It is nice to eliminate the maf and have full standalone ems. I know some lexus/supra guys have been running this with good succcess, Hell you can't get an afc neo for the price of this....
