Hi guys, i was wondering would anyone know the callsigns the IAC use eg. for the aw 139s etc. i enjoy listing to atc and am intrested in the air corps (might apply if they ever recruit again) , but i'd like to know if an IAC aircraft was near-by so i could spot it. Also i know if they IAC wanted us to know they were around they'd make it know, but just like to spot and listen in ...

I got a code 35, IAC valve, out of my 95 GMC 5.7 a couple of weeks ago. I also got a code 54, fuel pump relay. I was getting a CE light at idle. I replaced the IAC valve and put in a new fuel pump relay. I unhooked the battery for about 10 minutes to clear the code, but my code 35 wont go away. I still get a CHECK ENGINE light at idle. Is that my old code or do I still have a problem?

long story, but now when I start up it surges and stalls(usually) its due to a bad relearning process recently... What is the proper procedure for retraining your IAC(solenoid)?

i took off the IAC valve today to try and clean it out a little due to rough idle at times and just cause. well i did that, then put it back on, and now its making a noise like the horn in those ricola commercials. it goes away if i loosen the valve and pull the back of it away from the intake, but then it runs rough and i cant tighten it. any idea's.

This might be a dumb question but I need to ask it. I have a 2003 base 5 speed, can I use a 2004 type s iac valve. I am not going to replace my throttle body just the valve because it is bad. Can I use it?

Conflicts, emotions, romance, break ups, friendships.....It had it all....None of the celebs were boring (save Nell) and it was a contrversial, fun series... Series 3 closely follows. Every other series has been slightly dull in parts.

351 engine: From cold start, truck goes into high idle as it should, but immediately drops off to low idle after anywhere from around 5 to 30 seconds and will die if driven unless it has warmed up. Every vote seemed to go as predicted. At least when you watch the X Factor you can end up getting a shock at who isn't in the bottom two. IAC in comparison seemed very predictable and pretty boring for it.

so i bought MAF cleaner to clean my MAF and IAC, and i took both of them off, cleaned them and let them sit for 10 minutes before re installing. so the moment of truth, i started the engine, and it died. im thinking... OMFG.. but..... i opened the hood and the IAC wasnt plugged in. ran fine after that

On my 95 GM when I start the car it turns over but then dies right away.If I give it gas while it starts it will idle rough for a few seconds and then die again. I just changed the IAC and the fuel filter.What else can it be? Thanks.

new guy here, great site. i have a 81 tc. it has 302 with tbi. i converted it to mpi. now it idles way high. the tps reads 4.8 volts and won't adjust. i put a different tps and iac on and nothing happens. all vaccum line are good. also, when i put it in gear, it dies. even with the high idle. how do i get the tps to the magical .99 volts?
