Hello, My 11 yr. old son has Type 1 and was just diagnosed as hypothyroid yesterday. I am also hypothyroid and had a horrific experience on synthroid. I am now on armour and doing very well. The doctor formally diagnosed Sam as hypothyroid, and is starting him on synthroid. Sure I expected it after all the lab results the last 6 months, but still.
