My new frame with old kit. Triple butted hydroformed 7005 alu with Easton carbon fork and stays. Really 'direct' feel, but not uncomfortably stiff. Had a warranty issue on old frame and got a great deal on this to tide me over while it gets sorted. Really like the seat post. The kit is used Record. Colour is love or hate I guess. Hope you like!

Some questions on the LS7 exhaust manifolds. Any direction to technical information greatly appreciated. Is there any specification as to how much temperature drop is obtained by the stainless outerwrap and air gap over the 4 hydroformed internal tubes? Is the outerwrap also setup to spread the temperature out more evenly, as a heat shield?...

The most recent rides on hydroformed alu HTs (all 29ers, if it matters) has been pretty impressive as far as ride quality VS stiffness, etc. It has me wondering if the regular round, butted alu tube is becoming a bit out of style. I have always thought that the best thing about carbon is the ability to really fine tune the characteristics of a particular section of the frame by laying the ...

Hi folks, Is there still a market for titanium frames? If you were in the market for a titanium frame, would you buy something like this: Double butted top, down and seattube, USD850 OR Double butted tubes with hydroformed downtube, BB30. USD1200 There seems to be two camps developing for titanium frames. The ones that are buying titanium frames as ...

Because I own one and it annoys the Turner homers which brings a certain level of satisfaction. It is tough to beat a Turner for quality but the RIP 9 has hydroformed tubing, tapered headtube for stifness, and the CVA system works awesome.

Have you ever seen top marks across the board? I haven’t either until the Taurus. Wayne Gerdes - CleanMPG - Dec. 24, 2009 2010 Ford Taurus – Award winning but not so fuel efficient is just a hint of Ford’s vehicle crash safety prowess. Cam, I think they are hydroformed stainless steel (not sure of grade). A Hastelloy "W" TIG filler rod will work very well for this. I intend to use the same manifolds on my engine as they flow as good as any aftermarket header and better than some up to slightly above 7000RPM. IMO, of course. Keep an eye for wreckers parting out the center exhaust sections for the LS7. They have the mating...

Best? PPG Ultrawhite. Serves as a brillaint canvass for the hydroformed frame, and all the polished pieces. All my Harleys become white - the brighter, the better. Mercedes arctic white used to do it, but the PPG is better. Worst? Any color that shows the dirt, spots, and swirls. I hate any flat, dull, lifeless finish. If you can't read a book in the reflection, it might as well be...

I've had a Delirium for the past year, there is no frame built as tough as a Knolly. I can bomb Northstar or pedal it up the hill if I want. I've got a 66RC3 Ti on it. The thing is so laterally stiff its ridiculous. It is possible to put a 8.75 x 2.75 shock on it and boost the travel from 165mm to 175mm but you lose the adjustable HA. Only got to ride it once with the longer shock...
