hi folks. Any one have any experience with an hydraulic handbrake? How does it work with ABS? Does it not put a extreme loading on the rear shafts, diff & propshaft? My thinking is that locking up the rears at 20,30 or 40mph must be sore on the front diff/gearbox. It cant be good? Can it? This is for a rally car. Cheers...

> Is anyone aware of the Ford conventional chassis utilizing Lucas Gurling hydraulic brakes? Is this the only braking system that Ford offered after they stopped offering air barkes on their conventional chassis?

Daewoo Solar LC-3 hydraulic woe's I have been asked to look at a Daewoo Solar LC-3 which stalls the engine when any function is used if the operator does not 'feather' the controls or if a cylinder is held at the end of its stroke. Both pumps are running pressures of 298bar and the fuel pump and injectors have been overhauled ...

This could possibly be one for shogun as the 7's are more common with this type of hydraulic circuit, but... On the E31, I have the hydraulic brake servo system, however I'm having some "fun" with it now. During normal braking, the brakes work absoloutely fine, the booster works correctly and everything's a-ok. (aka, slow, smooth movements of the brake pedal) However, if you hit ...

Do the injectors in my 03 Ex and 04 350 activate electrically? Or, are they activated only with a high pressure oil (sounds like a hydraulic system of some sort to me) system? Or, do they have a high pressure line to them but they are activated by an electrical signal from the FICM? The FICM taking the place of a distributer (on a gas engine) and/or the mechanical spider pump as on my ...

Hey Guys- I picked up a 12 Ton Hydraulic Press and have pressed my own wheel bearings on my 5.5 gen. I can provide this service for you as well. The best quote I got around town was $250 per side to press out the old bearings and press in the new ones. That was with me bringing them my spindle and the new bearings, so it did not include installing the spindle back on the car. It would ...
