I picked up a great deal for upgrading the brakes on my 1971 240Z. 1989 Toyota 4 Runner calipers on 300Z finned rotors front and back. Of course the rear calipers do not support the existing e-brake. I have heard mention of a hydraulic line lock that works very well. Can anyone tell me how I would add that feature? Thanks, Kevin

I have both the roof crank up and a tripod for the times trees are in the way. Lots easier to just crank it up than put up a tripod in my opinion. And if its in a motorhome with hydraulic levelers even easier. Installation isn't bad, but the azimuth locking feature on mine didn't work well, because the center shaft had to be so accurately centered in the hole drilled through the...

New nuts are expensive, but not nearly as expensive as a complete hydraulic system cleaning and repair when one comes loose -- as they tend to...

I saw an article about ten or twelve years ago about a pretty elaborate trailerable sailing yacht. The thing had a hydraulic canting keel, split down the centreline with the two halves hinged on a common axis. You could lock them together underway, and split them side-to-side for shallow water. Half the keel and half the bulb would flip 90-degrees up on each side, looked a bit like an upside-...
