I have a HTML form (that must remain an HTML form) and I need to insert the values from the form into a MS SQL DB. I have messed around with classic ASP (VBScript) and come up with a solution. BUT, it does not pass the dotDefender(tm) Web Application Firewall because it contains quotes... How would you move the data? Thanks for any and all help! Cheers! BR

KevinB, unless you want to write your own OpenXML and binary parser, and myriad of older formats , you have to use the one built into Word. The only way to invoke the internal converters that office uses is to fire up that saveas command unless you like to reverse engineer things.

is this... a MySQL problem? or a PHP problem? or an HTML problem? what are you struggling with getting the value from the db and working out what to do writing the appropriate PHP code or understanding how to redirect to another HTML/PHP page.
