Hi I have discovered that a major online music store has copyed one of my blog posts word for word and hot linked one of my images. What should I do? Normally I don't mind too much as a link is added but they beat me in the serps which really pisses me off. Can I do anything? Thanks thier article My article

I got this from one of my other boards where I post and I feel I should put this up at this board as well because not everyone would know that hot linking is a no-no.. There is absolutely no hot-linking of pictures here. Hot-linking is simply copying and pasting the pictures here from another website. FYI it is illegal. When you do that, you are stealing band-with from another website. ...

Something I've recently discovered (but heard before) is this term "hot-linking"... If I've understood correctly, it means whenever we post a link to another site, from within our posts, we're essentially forcing Hedrus to pay more for band-width, and rendering ODP slower (the ODP experience made less enjoyable), or have I misunderstood the term?
