Hi, We have a SBS 2008 and use pop3 connector to retrieve all our e-mails which works perfectly. When we send emails we use Smart host for Internet e-mail which also works fine. However we have one person that is using an e-mail address within our domain but does not use exchange but POP to retrieve his emails. When we send emails internally (ie. from person1@domain.com to person2@...

Why is this user using POP when, of all the options for connecting to Exchange, it is by far the poorest and most limited? If he is directly connecting to the ISP's POP server (which is what I assume from your post) then he should be connecting to Exchange. If he has an SBS CAL he has an Outlook CAL as well, so he can use MAPI if he's internal, or Outlook Anywhere if he isn't, and also get ...
Okay, well I think I got it working now, what I did was entered my AD server's IP address in the "Bypass proxy for these source IPs" field. It all looks like its working now, as Squidguard also appears to be working and blocking sites. Is this an acceptable workaround though?

However, if you would like to host a website which accepts payment or you are hosting your website on a dedicated server and have tons of files etc, it is recommended you invest in a dedicated IP as soon as possible. FYI, an ssl cert will not...

Well, smaller hosts may be more willing to hold your hand and address things that are not really a host's responsibility, as, typically, the owner is ready to undervalue his time. Not something an employee is very willing to do though. Anyway, just in case you end up comparing ...
