Dr. Horror's Erotic House of Idiots - 2004 - Horror/Comedy - BerryShare http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0295930/ I had bought this film at a Chiller convention a while back, but never watched it. I know I got it from Debbie Rochon who said it was a very special film. Having just watched the entire DVD, it was indeed a big surprise. There is way too much plot to go into, but let me just ...

Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil is a new horror comedy (still currently in post-production) that should be coming out early next year. Here's the synopsis: Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil is a genre-bending indie horror comedy. Labine stars as Dale alongside Tudyk as Tucker, two good-natured hillbillies mistakenly accused of being psycho killers by a group of college kids camping at the same lake where the ...

There are tons of Horror Comedies, making fun of horror settings and characters, but are there any Comedy Horrors? I mean films that use comedy settings, but are meant to disturb you and scare the hell out of you? The closest I can think of is the clown in Stephen King's "It". Did you ever watch something that you initially thought was going to be a funny comedy, but turned into a nightmare ...

i saw the trailer with "zombieland." at one point they had a scooby doo-ish scene where one character is pretending to be the vampire's reflection before the vampire realizes he shouldn't have a reflection.

has anybody else every posted about this? There were three Evil Dead movies. The very first one was basically a gutsy, indie horror movie with a very small amount of comic relief... I would say at least 90% horror, and MAYBE 10% comedy. The second Evil Dead movie, from about 1987 or so, was much, much funnier... Personally, I would say it was about 75-80% comedy, but with a few good scares...

I'm inclined to pick comedy, because I really love a good comedy. But they are so hard to come by, and I have watched so many horror movies. It's hard to make a horror movie that has no entertainment value, but it's very easy to make a terrible comedy. So I pick horror. It's a much safer bet. It's so nice to have someone to play with!
