I know I am more hormonal than normal but I just don't know how to deal right now. DH's father has been staying with us for about two months now (he is single) and is nice guy and all but he is not working right now, and sits at home all day, he does have back problems and is trying to get a job that does not require him to do any heavy lifting (he has worked in construction all his life) ...

Ok, so this is a small hormonal rant (I think), but I just gotta vent... So my parents come up this weekend for our family Thanksgiving dinner and one of the few first things my mom says is "Oh no, he hasn't dropped yet"... and that has to be the 100th+ time I've heard that... Everyone keeps telling me, "Oh he'll be sitting right in your pelvic bone, you'll know, blah blah blah" and I'm like ...

Hello everyone. I need some advice. I think I may have a hormonal imbalance or something along those lines. I recently have been very stressed out because of school. I constantly go through these mood swings every day. It started a couple months ago and hasn't got much better. I'll go from pretty happy but I honestly haven't been very happy in a long time. Then I got to either very depressed, ...

I have been treated off and on my entire adult life for depression but it is the worse I can ever remember now. I am 48 and have had bleeding issues for several years until about two years ago when I had an ablation. Just in the past 6 months, I have been getting more and more depressed. I had a major problem with my church. This has caused me a lot of hurt and I am just not dealing well ...

Hi Ladies, I was wondering if anyone is on Flutamide(anti androgen) for acne? I know that it works great on the skin oilyness, hirsutism and hairloss. but I'vent heard anything about acne except for couple of studies comparing Flutamide to spiro. and how effective flutamide is. I'm looking for real life experience as you know most of these research articles are based on 3 to 6 month trials....

Hello, I began my treatment regimen with Face Reality a little over a month and a half ago. I have really horrible acne on my jawline and the underside of my face (yeah its hormonal, I know). My face broke out when I was 13, and despite not taking any pills, going to a dermatologist or an esthetician, my skin cleared up completely in a year or so. So, throughout most of high school, I was ...

I am looking for a good Dermatologist in NYC who specializes in acne. Some of the doctors I have been to concentrate more on the cosmetic side of dermatology or I just didn't like. I am 29 years old. I have hormonal acne around my mouth and jaw line. I mostly get cysts. I am looking for someone in Manhattan or 1-2 stops into Brooklyn or Queens. Someone who is respectful of my time (some ...

I'm about to start taking spiro, and I'm terrified of the initial breakout. Right now, I definitely have pretty bad hormonal acne. The week before my period, my skin is an absolute wreck and I try to stay indoors. I haven't left my house currently in three days!! I have four cysts, and many small bumps. I'm also going to start BC for the first time, concurrently with the spiro. My question:...

I just read some good things about Spiro. I wanted to give it a try because my breakouts are usually in the chin and jawline, therefore, I think it's hormonal acne. I dont have insurance and was considering buying this online? Is this safe? I have a dermatologist I regularly go to but I am not sure if he will be able to prescribe this? Any response will be appreciated. Thanks....

Hello everyone. I finally went to the dermatologist a week ago yesterday. I did have a flare up on Acne aside from some hormonal acne with my peroid back in October. I did manage to get it some what under control with some handmade olive oils soap and some diluted tea tree oil to clear the bacteria. However I was more concerned with the hyperpigmentation that is left behind from the few ...
