can I have no-fail on, b/c I can hit the hopo's but I have to be focused on the hopo's and completely fail the rest of the song, so can I turn on no-fail or will that kill my achievement

The metal guitar instructor on JamPlay is huge about pinky use. Not to beat the dead horse but since I've been playing GH/RB for so long my pinky is fairly strong and coordinated.
