Thinking I'd just bite the bullet and finish the modification I got ready to order one from a dealership or get one off ebay for about a $100. I searched Summit Racing and low and behold they have the SLP grilles for $61. I took my Summit Bucks check ...

ok, i found this s10 on the forums, and i was wondering something. I know to install a scoop like this, you have to take the paint down to the metal with 80 grit or so. but after you install it and the resin sets up, how are you supposed to primer/paint between the scoop and hood??? I'm definitely gonna get one, cause it's cheap and it looks pretty damn good to me, just need a little help ...

I can make the scoop functional, not that hard to do. and i'm pretty sure i can set it on good enough not to crack. like i said, i can do it a lot cheaper than a hood, prolly around 100 bucks all ...
