Dr Peter Fisher from the Royal London Homeopathic hospital (funded by the NHS) says homeopathic pills have physical side-effects. Can a sugar pill have a side-effect? This week the parliamentary science and technology committee looked into the the funding of homeopathy on the NHS and the evidence behind the decision of the MHRA, which regulates medicines, to allow homeopathy sugar pill ...

Just heard them Trailer that there will be a small debate tonight about homeopathy tonight 26/11/2009 BBC Radio5 after the Director of Boots face a parliamentary commitee and said they only reason Boots sell it is cos it's popular (implying even he doesn't believe it works) sometime between 10.30 pm and midnight on Richard Bacon show (which thankfully is not done by Bacon but Rachael Burden is ...

This entire article is no better than a lie. Reading it gives the impression that nothing in favor of homeopathy was stated, and that is far from the truth. Where are the words of Peter Fisher, a rheumatologist who has chosen to practice homeopathy? He was there and had quite cogent things to say and documentation to back his words. Studies that document the efficacy of homeopathy were offered...

Does anyone know how you go about finding someone who practices homeopathy and is actually good at what they do, ie. an expert as opposed to someone who has jumped on the bandwagon?

Paul Bennett is involved with sales. He represents Boots the corporation, not homeopathy. His viewpoint on its efficacy is irrelevant. The fact that he was included as if he's an expert would imply that the whole affair was a stunt designed to discredit homeopathy - not a genuine attempt to determine whether it should be made available on the NHS.
