I have a older computer that I was planning on putting a large hard drive in and using it as my home server. It is a Compaq with an AMD Athlon 3500 2.2 GHz with 1.43 GB ram. I am working on setting up a new home server. On the network there is 1 desktop and 2 laptops. There is also five users for these computer and they may log in to any one of the computers. I’ve been having some performance issues on Home Server. Slow file copies, unable to open the Home Server Console sometimes. When I opened with Remote Desktop today I got DNS service encountered an error and needs to shut down. Anyone know of a fix? 1 person needs an answer I do too
