Last night the battered hilt dropped and my GF won the roll for me :). She already has done the quest and got the weapon, and now i do to. But we were wondering if you can do the quest multiple times when you loot another battered hilt? For a secondary 1h or an offspec weapon, for example.

Hello people. I have a Battered Hilt for sale on the alliance side of ER. Its currently on the auction house for the rich people of the realm, but im taking bids out here also. If your horde and want to place a bid feel free, but transfering the money and the item is your own headache.

Hi guys I was lucky enough, to get a hold of the battered hilt some days ago. I haven't been playing after since I've been busy RL, but I desided to browse the web, in order to find out, what kinda stats my new tank weapon would have. I must say I was surprised to see, that none of the sword rewards, are for a tank. Is it just me, or does that seem a little odd? does anyone know if anything...

Make it BoP. Over the past two days, I've had three people in my guild needing on it, selling it, and claiming they would need it again if it dropped. This is not fair at all towards the people that farm the instance to get the hilt because they want the sword. You will now always be rolling against 4 others, even if those already have the weapon. Hello, I know many people wants this hilt (including me) but why is the drop rate keeps changing. You remove them from the skeletal slaves and the drop chance must be increased. But i've done these days 12 times all the 3 HC's but i've seen no Battered Hilt drop. Isn't there a option to gain a Battered Hilt without fighting for Need or Greed or anything. I am wondering... With the current price of Battered Hilt (10k in my server). Is there a way to get money from the incredibly high prices? I got mine off the mobs the very first trash we pulled on the very first day of the patch. I curse myself for not selling it for a mere 15k (first day) and instead getting the sword.

I'm just wondering if anybody else thinks the drop rate on Battered Hilt must be lower then 1-2%. Considering it can drop of any mob in the instance it would be reasonable to think you would atleast have one drop after 20+ runs. Does battered hilt drop in both normal and heroics? I checked Wowhead.com And there was a mob there saying that it drop from normal but has a much lower chance to drop then on heroic. Would highly prefer having a blue post about this rather then someone else putting in what they think they know please.

Hello I've been farming the new HCs since patch was released and have only seen the hilt drop ONCE, before the nerf. I know, low drop rates but seriously, when EVERYBODY needs the item, what are the chances of getting one before 2009 ends ? I just think this should also drop from normal instances and just have a low drop rate in heroic. But still, not THAT low. Anyone else here that ...

Is there any information if battered hilt drops only if you randomly enter FoS or PoS heroics?? Does it have a chance to drop if you choose to enter these heroic instances from spesific dungeon list?

Ok, i don't know is it me who sucks hard at playing retri pala, or my branistorming about right tactis just went in wrong direction, but i heard retri palas could solo first mobs in Forge of Soul, in order to farm battered hilt, but i just cant pass first two skeletons at entrance, and i can't even think about packs with caster and 4 skeletons in front... Ok i rep first skeleton and then go 1 ...

i want to Suggest that this Battered Hilt drop quest will be BoP rather than BoE as it is now players are only needing it to AH it and i realy think thats not fair to the rest of the players that are needing to do that questline as it is you see person needing it you grats them only to see them puting it on the AH on 30 -40 k so i wold be very happy to see thet drop quest go ...
