Per MLBTR The Angels are in serious discussions with Hideki Matsui for a DH role, reports ESPN's Jayson Stark. I'd find a one-year deal in the $6-8MM range to be appropriate, but it's hard to say what the ...

Tyler Kepner of the New York Times is confirming. Supposedly a one year deal worth about $6.5 million. So does this mean Vlad is most likely gone? Matsui will be the DH.
