I keep seeing those things for around $250. I got a card from one guy at this past weekends RKShow who was offering them for just $220! At that price it's hard to not want to buy one. I really need the money to work on my idea for a re-work of an AK bullpup's trigger, but part of me just wants to throw that on the back-burner and get a Hi-Point. Boy that felt weird to say out loud. The...

Hi-Point shows that it is possible to deliver reliable (if not pretty) firearms to consumers for a fraction of the cost of other brands. Why, then, are there no other currently successful US companies that follow the same philosophy?

I have a very nice and dependable Hi Point 380 compact for sale or trade. I bought the gun new on 9/28/2009. It is in excellent condition. I've taken it out twice and put a box of 50 through it each time. It's absolutely flawless when it comes to performance. Not one jam up and no ejection problems. I keep my guns extremely clean. Included with the gun, I have 150 rounds of Fiocchi 380 ammo. Not ...

I just purchased my first Hi-Point and had to pimp it out. I have shot several HPs in the past and became impressed with this inexpensive, made in USA firearm. It seems the majority of people that don't like HP are the ones who have never fired, much less owned one. I have to admit, I am a reformed Hi-Point snob. This baby is sweet. My only complaint is the magazine capacity. How can ...

I have one, don't waste your money. It was cool for about 2 months, till the dust cover broke off when I was shooting it!!! The dust cover supports the front sight so that is a big problem. If you want something that looks cool/scary just get an airsoft gun and paint the tip black. An airsoft gun is about as useful as a Hi point. The only good thing about the hi points are that they have a ...

I guess everybody is different, I don't have any similar issues with my C9, and follow-up shots are easy and accurate...You have to figure out a better way of holding that gun. Every gun recoils, some more than others, some people concentrate on recoil too much, I also shoot my Ruger Vaquero .45 Colt and don't pay attention to the recoil, concentrate on POA and repeat shoots. Some people ...

I have a C9 and it's a good shooting gun. I've not had any problems with it, but I bought it just for a truck gun. As far as a ccw, I tote my Colt 1911.

I know a couple people with Hi Point handguns. Been to a range or two with these guys. Never heard tell of any of them having a problem with one. Wouldn't own one personally. Got nuthin' to do with the "quality" of the gun. They are just real ugly to me and I'm not crazy about the way they fit my hand is all...
