I watched this last night for the first time, and it kicked ass (I have yet to see Hellboy). Awesome visuals, but I guess I'd expect that from the del Toro. It's too bad that it got so overshadowed by The Dark Knight when it was released. Anyone else like this? As I lay to die, the things I think: Did I waste my time? I think I did; I worked for life.

Amazon Already up for $11 too. Quite a steal considering these are both excellent titles, creatively produced by Guillermo Del Toro, voiced by Ron Perlman, etc, etc. Great stuff and well worth the $11. Hopefully this isn't a dreaded flipper.

It was just a great concept, the idea that gods go hungry unless their worshipers sacrifice themselves to them has been done a bit recently, I saw it in Hellboy 2, I read it in American Gods, it's not a new concept by any means. But the idea that nobody is sacrificing themselves to a shape shifter takes the form of celebrities it sees in a wax museum and then kills then fans who worship them ...
