I have inherited a really nice ship that was totally abused by the previous operator. We have spent tons of $$ on it getting it back to where it should have been and i have to tell you all that the best part of doing so has been Heli-Mart. Those guys have been there for us 24 hours a day seven days a week, they get parts out to us the same day and always answer the phone. They have also ...

Just curious as to why some pilots like to fly solo. Is the heli more maneuverable? Also why is it they don't like when someone spawns in the front seat of the heli when they are flying? Thanks for looking.

i've searched many forums and sites but i cant find the exact size for the idler sprocket bolt. i acidently stripped the threads from the head and im going to heli coil it but i dont know the size for it. all i know is its a metric bolt size 12 but by what? i tried a M12 X 1.75 from napa and the bolt will get stuck in the heli coil about 1/4 way through. so im guessing its either a M12 X 1.50 ...

Hey all, we had an impromptu tour flight a week or so ago and the gentleman made a video. He told us he had a new helicopter web site and that he'd post something on it, he was so nonchalant we didn't expect what he posted. He does this all the time... send him an email, he might come to your school and do the same thing. Check it out, he has a cool site! http://vtolblog.com/ ...

I am the newest of the newbies when It comes to RC helis. I worked on full scale in the Army for a while. I have a pretty good concept of what takes place when the spinny thingie is a goin round (tehnical term). Full scale knowledge probably only makes me dangerous with the RC versions. I wanted to start a thread to have a place to keep my questions together and not post a hundred threads....

Changed my plugs on my 97 GT (super easy). Found out that the #1 plug was either cross threaded or stripped prior to me owning the car, hence the heli coil came out with the plug! New ones are Motorcraft Plat. and that stubborn one is a Champion copper plug . Cant find any heli coils that are coarse threaded big enough to match it. Any ideas? Btw will be doing the PI swap as soon as I come ...
