On my third 300 bottle of Industrial grade Helium. Aside from some really shabby castings, that seem to require AC, I no longer need to brush & fuss over this work, Heli-Arc has provided me with the edge to build up a modest level of skill, that I guess can only come from repeated going thru the motions, every little detail, torch angle, how aggressively to, and when to add filler ...

Which one is better in your opinion? I currently using Heli but I see a lot of people use the Harrier. Is there any noticeable difference in them? The Heli seems to move around the map more and is pretty small. The Harrier looks like it bombs the map before it comes in then it just hovers in one place and looks like a giant target in the sky.

I am off in a few days now and was wondering whether i should pre-book activities such as heli flights (mt cook, glacier hike, etc..), milford cruise, and whale watching. I was thinking i should just phone a couple of days before to sort it as they're so weather dependant. Is this the best plan? or should i book everything right now? Thanks!

I've mastered the Blade Mcx and Msr for indoor flight. How about this for my first non-coaxial outdoor heli?? Edit: I'm thinking that at only $99, better to practice with this than to wreck a $469 Blade 400. (and we thank you for your support)

Browsing thru popular Mechanics and found an interesting article on a new heli that looks pretty impressive. Sikorsky is rolling out what appears to be one fast machine that could find it's way into many different applications. The X2 is the name and I have not been able to spend much time looking up info online but will try to update as soon as I find more info. Anyone who is familiar ...

Hi guys. Quick question. I have an indoor heli and on my recent crash, I nicked the Rx wire and unfortunately was cut in 2 pcs. Is it ok to repair an Rx wire antenna just by joining the 2 cut halves together by soldeing? Will the reception and signal strength be the same when it was still whole? TIA .

First off, you will need a li-po charger if you dont already have one, car also needs an ESC (speed control). I have a ESC from my heli that I will put in the car so you can see everything drive and work before hand. Car is a team associated RC18B, also included is another rolling chassis. Upgrades on first car: Lunsford Titanium turnbuckles MIP Rear ball differential Aluminum rear ...

Some shots from Midweek and Today's rides. FartyFartmeister, who just a few months ago, got heli-evac'ed for sticking a bone through his leg, is back with a vengeance and flat-pedals his bullet on all the xc trails just to accelerate his recovery. "What injury? I don't remember any injury" End-ola, a physician, not only made sure Farty was taken care ...

I blew a spark plug out coming home from a job in LA last night in my Ford F-150 (year 2000; 5.4L). The alum. head appears to have stripped threads for the spark plug receiver so I most likely need a heli-coil or similar put in (No. 2 or 3 cylinder). Does anyone know of a good Ford shop near Clairemont in San Diego? I need this truck running asap for work. Any reccomendation would be greatly ...
