I am planning on trying my first year at planting heirloom tomatoes. I currently sell to a restaurant and caterer and they are after me to try them. I unfortunately have not had the best of luck in years past but this summer I had huge success on cherry tomatoes (all different colours and varieties). I would really appreciate some input as to what varieties you have had success with. My ...

( Okay, so I was at the grocery store and I saw Heirloom Tomatoes. Cool looking things they are! They are also over $5.00 per pound. I HAD to know what makes a tomato worth $5.69 a pound so I bought two large tomatoes. Now I have these mega expensive tomatoes and I do not know what to do with them. I have to make this special otherwise I wasted a lot of money on these things. What ...

So I'm currently leveling as Combat (swords when I can find the room to spec into it) and was wondering if the Heirloom Thrashblade was worth it. It comes down to about.. 2.15 speed with the haste in the combat tree, i just didnt know if it was fast enough to make use of the off hand energy proc.

I just finished harvesting a late crop of heirloom tomatoes from my greenhouse (finished Nov 8). These were started in late June/early July for a late season harvest, and grown organically in a medium of soil, peat and manure - fertilized only with fish emulsion, seaweed extract, etc. Note, I am zone 5b. This was my first experiment with heirlooms in a greenhouse for a delayed season. I am ...

Someone in another thread mentioned something about having all these heirloom dishes that never get used, but also never get stored away so it got me thinking about something. I'll be getting my mother's china soon. She's in a nursing home and wants me to have it. My mom is 82 and this was her grandmother china. There is a lot of place settings (at least 12)and lots of serving pieces. On one...

I have three baggies of seeds that I packaged up from some of my seeds. Some commercial and some collected from my Garden. All of the collected seeds are OP or hand pollinated and heirloom. And each item is labeled as to which. Each package is a bit different and will offer a nice selection for a beginner or seasoned gardener's vegetable garden. I will offer them for trade or SASBE. The seeds are...

Some questions for the collective, I've reached that point in my relationship where it's time to pop the question. I'm not big on jewelry at all. My girlfriend like jewelry but its typically cheapish/funky stuff, not expensive shiny stones. I personally don't agree with the whole you have to buy a expensive diamond tradition. It seems really silly to me, I don't know who came up with ...

Hi folks. My name is Jane; I'm a new member. I'm calling upon the experts here to give me a little advice. And hopefully someone is inclined to do so : ) I'm looking for a family heirloom - a smith & wesson pistol. My grandfather was the sheriff of racine county wisconsin in 1927-28 and it was his service revolver. S&W model 10 38 special, with a personal engraving on the side plate. It ...

Hi All! I was at the 9/6/08 show in Berkeley CA, and it was an incredible show, except at the same show my girlfriend lost a meaningful and expensive piece of heirloom jewelry. I later got ahold of the show through a B+P and on the copy I got, many of the tracks were damaged (wouldn't download)... So I downloaded a FLAC of the show myself from dreamingtree (couldn't find it here)...

...What is his deal? What do you think The Man thinks about his kid selling the company? I dont know anything about the boy, but that just sounds like the douchiest move ever to lose control of the family business, like my dad gave me this family heirloom and I pawned it. Side note on WME, if your strapping skis to a camel to go somewhere to find snow, maybe you should...
