I cleared out my basement gym and hung up my Heavy Bag. Today I was at Dick's Sporting goods store a saw a nice pair of Everlast Evergel Wraps. I normally used the bag with my leather lifting gloves but my knuckles hurt and are red from punching. I kinda stopped using the bag because my hands a wrist would hurt. I don't want big heavy Boxing Gloves, but just something for extra protection. Does ...

I heard this glitch was there from the very beginning and there has been a few updates since the games release...why the hell are they ignoring this major glitch? Now I can only auto train in the heavy bag push in legacy mode instead of getting the full attribute pts. I've tried everything from staying as far as I can to hitting the bag in a slow rhythm so it won't make the heavy bag...

Hi guys; long time since I've posted on here; quick question... What type of heavy bag (and which brand) do you recommend I buy, hang up in my garage, and practise Muay Thai striking on? I want to improve body kicks and punches in particular, and I also want the bag to be quite compact when I throw body kicks; to condition my shins. Ideally I want to get a bag for under 100 pounds ...

Wanted to spice up the workout sa bit so I just picked up a heavy bag (80 pound bag and nice gloves for only $75 - can't beat the price but something tells me I should have got the 100 pound bag). I hung it up and am ready to go. Only problem is I have no idea at all what I am doing. Is there a good site with routines and the basics for beginners (I know there are probably ...

Hello, all, looking for some clarification. I'm a practicing martial artist who's looking to add a weight routine for additional strength. I know that's it's generally a good idea to take 48 hours off in between working the same muscle groups. My question is the following: would this apply to heavy bag training? Fore example, if I lifted on Monday and worked my shoulders, chest and/or back, ...

I am looking to pick up a heavy bag for use in my new house. 8'4" from the bottom of the steel i-beam to the floor. Who uses what at home? I am looking for one to help keep me in shape and still fit within a 150-250 dollar budget. I have seen some 100 and 120 lb units on ebay. What about the water filled ones? Thanks

i recently purchased a heavy bag w/ stand. i have set everything up and was curious about the height of the bag. without taking any of the links of the chain out i can rest my chin on top of the bag. so basically i was wondering at what height i should set the bag at. im also not using the bag for kicks if that matters. this is my first bag and first time ever putting on gloves so any and ...

Re: Built a 'crane' for my Heavy Bag... Thanks guys... What I used was based on a days milling around looking to make a roller system and something just popped out as the easiest solution for me. I used a 4" shackle pin and cut it down to about 1.5 inches. The pin has a flat tab with a hole that seemed to be just right. Here are ...

I would get the banana bag, IMO, if you can only get one. Buy it unfilled, and you can fill it with old clothes and rags (a LOT). From there get a crapload of rice and dump it in, and let it settle. There's a million ways to fill a bag, this is just one of them. Yes, it will be super heavy on the bottom, but that's fine. You say you want to condition your shins and hands and stuff--well...
