I keep snagging my boot on the heat shield on my 08 CRF. Does anybody have a fix besides spending $100 on a carbon fiber piece? I was thinking about simply wrapping exaust tape around the header back and over the tip of the shield to close the gap, any problems with this?
i'm cleaning out the basement and have these parts left over from my 06 exige that i sold a few months ago. free to anyone that will come pick them up in crystal lake (1hr northwest of chicago) but i don't really want to ship them.

I am selling a SPT intake with heat shield for 05-09 legacy turbo. I believe it also will work on a N/A legacy but I am not 100% sure. It comes with t-bolt clamps to secure the piping. I don't knwo what it is with me, but every car I've owned, the heat shield has come loose. It just happened to my Accord and I'm wondering if there is a way to reattach it once the one bolt section has rusted off? Do you think appoxy of some sort might hold it? If not I;m going to just remove it when I get the chance.

Ok, I finally made the plunge and had an exhaust guy put on an R/T exhaust from a Challenger with Magnaflow tips. Now I've read everywhere here that a heat shield is definitely needed by the driver's side on the gas tank. Well I forgot to mention it to the mechanic but I figured he did it anyway, well he did not. I asked him about it and he said he seriously doubts their would be any issue ...

Just like the title says I have a great condition, used, Cusco Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield for sale! I've had it on the car for MAYBE a year, & never saw snow or salt so its in great shape.
