I was using a set of ear buds, and watching Sprint TV, and the TV locked up. I turned off the phone, and back on, all is good now, except the headphone jack on top is not working. Tried the ear buds on the pc and they work fine, but not on the Hero. Music just comes out of the speakers. Anyone have an idea????

Seriously, i have a 2g ipod touch and i want one that works without needing to plug in to the headphone jack, it defeats the whole purpose. Anybody have a link to one $25 or less?

Hey both I and a friend cannot get the head phone jacks to work on our speakers. I plug in my headphones and it just make sthe speakers play really quietly but no sound comes out through the head phones. Restarting the application/pc doesn't work. Why is this?

I've never heard of this being an issue, but I'm almost positive it's not the headphones. They seem to work fine on other devices, and I have a brand new pair with the same issue as the last pair. I called up Apple today about my problem with the headphone jack. The problem was was that the sound was only coming out of 1 earphone/speaker. They ran through some quick tests then said that the problem was with the Mac itself, not the speakers. They told me to go to a local Apple repair company to get it repaired. I just received a 2Gb Clip as a gift today but discovered it had a problem with the headphone jack. I used 4 different sets of ear buds and each time I pushed them in all the way, the sound would cut out. If I pulled them out of the jack a bit, the sound would kick on but the headphones would slip around and cut in and out and lose connection if I moved the Clip, so it was rendered essentially ...
