Jackson suffered a head injury on Saturday (pulled a stocking off the fireplace and the metal stocking holder fell down as well and hit him in the head). He did not pass out and the cut was minor. 8 hours in the ER, most spent waiting, CAT scan came back negative (normal) thank God. Doctors say everything ...

i think ineffectiveness may have ended his career. the head thing just a way of keeping him off the team and this is his last year. not on the best of terms with coach or GM. time to play for the future.

Thanks (Lula) for reminding me of the great cat blog (that I bookmarked and forgot to go check on for the lysine info!) Between working with middle schoolers all last week (and again this week) and worrying about my fur-lump (!!!) my poor little brain is not firing on all cylinders!

Dear Cricket, I re-read your original post again this morning, and I realized your question had to do with the child protective services people saying your baby's injuries could not have happened from the air bag. I'm sorry I confused what you said. Anyhow, there is a world of evidence out there that, as I said in my first post, when an airbag deploys with a baby in the front ...

Hi Yes, it can be. A very minute bleed that develops slowly as a subdural hematoma can be missed on earlier examination. Only a brain scan can confirm that. As usual, doctornee gives excellent advice. I would make an appointment with a neurologist and get an MRI (not a CT scan or an x-ray) as soon as possible. That doesn't mean three weeks from now. A 3T MRI would be preferable. It can be difficult to get a physician to pay attention to you sometimes, and you are going to have to be persistant. A "physical exam" by a G.P. without a ...

Hi Consult a neurologist regarding damage to olfactory center and whether a MRI will be helpful or not. Also consult a sleep specialist to know why you have a disturbed sleep pattern. Sleep deprivation to can alter the perceptions of organs of sense, nose being one of them. Hope this helps. Take care!
