Ok, I just installed Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on my laptop. Relevant specs are as follows: Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T9800 @2.93Ghz RAM: 4.00 GB DDR3 Graphics card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 w/ 1.0 GB DDR3 dedicated graphics memory Even though I had a few problems with Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit (what I had on the laptop before I upgraded), I never had any problems ...

Hi there all. I have a Creative X-FI model (cheapy one) that I'm told does not do any hardware acceleration ("extreme audio" I think), also have the ASUS ROG III motherboard that came with a small PCI-E sound card that I'm told also doesn't do any hardware processing. I was left wondering, what's the cheapest Creative X-FI sound card that does hardware acceleration, taking the sound ...

Hi So yeah i use hardware monitor to change profiles depending on whether hardware acceleration is 0 or 1.. The problem is that some apps triggers hardware acceleration and that makes the clocks go up when theres no need.. Is there a way to make it ignore these apps? Thanks

I have recently purchased an AAO751h with XP. I can't seem to enable hardware accelerated graphics even though I have installed the latest Intel GMA500 drivers. Does anyone know if there are drivers which support hardware acceleration on the 751h? Video playback worked much better on my 1st generation AAO110L !

Hi and hello. I've been looking around the whole evening now, couldn't find any solution. Actually, I'm not sure if it has been this way since I installed Win7, maybe. Tonight I realized that the scheduled clocking tasks are not working, it took me some time to find out the reason: RivaTuner is not detecting any hardware acceleration change, it remains at 0 on every...

I am running Windows 7 Enterprise, and am trying to disable hardware acceleration for testing purposes. But, the registry entry mentioned at http://beta.blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/janiv/arch ive/2009/06/07/hardware-acceleration-in-wpf.aspx does not exist in my registry. I can drill down to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Avalon.Graphi cs , but there no key/value for ...

Why won't Adobe allow OpenGL access through Flash Player? It would seem a fairly easy way to gain true 3D support, access to hardware acceleration, and OpenGL is 'supposedly' cross platform. I know you cater to the graphic artist with Flash but us Flex guys are curious. Just wondering.

I believe that the lowest end X-fi cards that actually decode in hardware are the Xtrememusic and Xtremegamer. Anyways, I'm pretty sure it is the reason I bought the Xtrememusic in the first place .
