I recently got a digital copy and it played while it was on my computer, but when I transfered it to my External Hardrive it would not play anymore..I transferred it back and it wouldn't play either. I click on properties and it does not have the Archive check box there. Whats the problem 1 person needs an answer I do too

Cheapest and most reliable are an oxymoron. You really need to spell out what you consider cheap. Cheap is a relative term. I have had one of these for quite awhile and like it. However, there are countless external USB HDDs out there anymore. I mention what I did only because I do have the thing and it has worked well for me and my uses. Ron

I would like to clone my hd on my laptop to a larger harddrive. It is a toshiba a75 with 80 gb to use a 160 gb. my 80 gb hd started making noise and I got a blue screen. Dell desktop (dimension E521) had 2 hard drives listed in my computer (C & D drives each 160 GB) following a wipe of drives with DBAN and a reinstall of XP and all relevant drivers etc I appear to have lost the second drive. Hi, I'm using 10.6.2 and I never use Time Machine amd so I have it turned off. Even so, every time I connect an external hardrive that the system considers "big" enough, I get prompeted as to if I want or not to use that HD as the Time Machine HD (even if it is the 1000th time I connect that specific drive to my computer and said "NO" the previous 999 times).
