How weird is this, did anyone know that HF has a drum sander of some sort? Nothing about it on the web. I also didn't know that they had a 13" planer, a 7" jointer, or even a 3hp cabinet saw . Though while I shop at HF for a lot of stuff, I've gotta say that a cabinet saw wouldn't be something I would get from them. Probably not any of that other stuff either. At some price point, I'm not ...

$5 or so. Sharp enough to cut paper. Is there any metal in these at all? Would they be detectable by airport screeners They sell much larger versions btw.

Every time I go into Harbor Freight Tools store it's between $200 and $250. When I step into Sears I average $80. When I hit Home Depot or Lowe's near my home its between $70 and $80. Does this tell you I spend more on my shop and cars than on the house and other essentials? Is that a bad thing? This morning 2 of my buddies and I went Christmas shopping for ourselves (naturally) and each ...

Would the Harbor Freight 34706 Lathe be an upgrade from a Ridgid Lathe WL1200? http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=34 706 Have you seen it on sale in recent time for less than the current $229 price. I have a 20% coupon to add to that. Also has anyone seen a lower price than $69 for this turning set? http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=34 706 It has a bit thicker...

Mike McCann sent me a coupon and I was able to get the sander for $84 total with tax. (They wouldn't let me use 2 coupons though. I used it to sand all the contours of the 2 rocking chairs I made. The wood was all pt 2x4's so it wasn't too hard but was very pitchy. Every part got sander and re shaped so I put it through a pretty good test. The sander worked great. Believe it or not it ...

I went to Harbor Freight the other day and found a treasure there--- a set of alumninum jack stands that sells for $39.99. They are so much lighter than the steel ones. Unlike other Harbor Freight tools, this one feels high quality. I grabed one and threw away my Craftsman steel ones immediately. Having used it a couple of times and I am satisfied. The only thing I do not like this set...

I've been doing the body work on my 240Z V8 project car. I started on the hood last weekend and after stripping off 9 layers of paint & primer, was pleased to discover the hood was free of any major damage. However, there were two dents on the top of the hood at the nose that were filled with copious amounts of body filler. There was also a crack on the drivers side front of the hood that ...
