Getting on base at a 313 clip isn't really sufficient for C, let alone DH or 1B. He is a brilliant base stealer, he gets on and realizes there is no chance he's going to steal, so he stays put. He has a .344 career
OBP, not .313 and his SB/CS ratio is excellent but thanks for playing. He's 25 for 43 for his career, a 58% clip. The AL as a whole averaged 74% last year.
