I was just watching the local BBC news and there was a piece about a gangster movie called 1 Day which is filmed in and around Handsworth. why do people shop at xmas and go mad as though the super markets going to close for 6 months they are only closed for 2 days , went to asda at handsworth this morning around 11 ish and people buying going mad 1 couple a trolly each full to the brim , the self service tills queing all the way through to the middle of the store as tho they have 2 hrs before the store closes ,,

I thought that I had got out of it this year as our drive and cul-de-sac is like an ice rink, so Mr F (who had the sense to park on the main rd) was duly sent to Handsworth Asda with a list which i reckoned to be about £80 total............he came home 3 hours later, £200 lighter, and every brand name item going......never again, will go by flippin helicopter if it saves me £120!

Our Family friend dancers with the Handsworth Sword Team and has done since i was a baby! We watch them every year on the last Sunday before Christmas! Its always a great laugh! The were at the Highcliffe pub this year and were at the Dev Cat last year! Hope that helps! Miss Feathers
