Had the Droid for a week or so and have run into my first big problem. When making or receiving calls, no sound is coming out of the handset and no speech is heard through the microphone. If I turn on the speaker, everything is fine. If I enable the bluetooth it works fine. Voice dialing and google talk search cannot hear me either. Anyone else have this?

I tried this switch from JK Audio which enables NextUp Talker to be used with a landline (wired) telephone. It works really well, and allows you to use your handset to listen to a call while using your computer to talk for you. The switch sits between your handset and phone base, and you run a cable from the box to the earphone jack on your computer. The switch also includes volume control, ...

A band I'm working with at the moment has asked for the above, it will be used for a nice "lo-fi" effect on a few songs, as well as a visual prop for the performance.
