Hello all, I'm migrating from many years on off-road style bikes to a lovely low mileage 2000 FZS 600 Fazer and would like to change the handlebars to bring the riding position to something i'm more used to and take some of the weight off my knackered wrists... I don't want to Streetfighter it - I want to keep the fairing intact / in place for a little protection - so does this limit me to...

Not a lot of room on the punkin 530 handlebars, and I have 3-4 items needing mounting... (Map switch, folding mirrors, roll-chart holder, etc) Already have a RAM mount for my 60CSx taking about the only possible real-estate on the main bars... How you you get it all on there??? I heard some put another 12-14" long 1/2" bar above the handlebars with clamps, but I am not sure how to do this or...

Foolanthropy has started - see HOME tab of the motley fool and brace yourself for lots of chatter. Tonight I was thinking about the railing on the bridge = it doesn't bother me much any more - when I ride beside it, it reaches a level above my handlebars. That led me to consider recent images from the Tour de France 2008 (watching the World Cycling Production dvds while riding indoors) -- ...

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle. Life may begin at 30, but it doesn't get real interesting until about 60 mph! I am having trouble finding grips for my early CT90 (1966). The handlebar diameter is 19mm or 3/4 inch. Every normal source I've tried only have grips that fit 22mm / 7/8 inch handlebars, the common size. I've tried e-bay, cmnsl, bike bandit, Ohio cycle, Western Hills Honda, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Obviously I could install later handlebars however, I would like to keep this bike ...
