Now I've got the original bars on the bike but what with some of the changes I'm making, I'm thinking of getting other handlebars aswell. At the mo, they seem ok but when you go for a LONG ride, the back starts to niggle me a bit. I'd much prefer to lay back more and seeing as though I ordered a Mustang seat, I understand that you actually move forward about 1 to 2 inches. That "maybe" ...

So I took the afternoon off and among other things carved out time to install the OEM handlebars. After reading up on the chore in the Clymer’s manual I dove in. First item in all BMW Airhead procedures beyond checking the oil – disconnect the battery cable. Done. So with the juice off removing the set that was on the bike was not too bad. I still don’t know anything about those bars ...

After trying different helmet mount solutions, I decided that I like the simple velcro solution that I picked up from Scar w/ his Amoeba. I'm thinking that I would like to use the same lights for my handlebars also, and I'm thinking using hose clamps to attach a metal base for the velcro would work well. Has anyone successfully used hose clamps for mounting to handlebars? I'm wondering if ...

Asking for help from fellow Bromptonians. I love my bike but find I am cramped and cricked in the neck by the handlebars. I have the s type. I have an extended seat post set at maximum for best pedal power. I want the handlebars to be both higher and wider. Have seen the SP thing online but can't tell whether that actually gets you higher or ...

I'm starting to work on my first frame after some requisite practice brazing (thanks to all here for the invaluable info!). I'd also like to play around with some handlebar designs. Just for townie use at the moment, would want to make sure I could trust the fillets before any dirt time. What thickness of 4130 should I start with? Is 7/8" x .049 or .058 about right? I'd like to do something ...

I'm trying to figure out what to use to add space to mount crap on my handlebars... I have finally found a handlebar bag for small stuff, but I don't have enough space to have it on my bars and still have my lights mounted... What are those t-bar dinugses called that add an extra horizontal T for mounting ...

So it is time for us males (And ah, irregularly hormonal females) to start to show the progress of their mo's. I am already carrying a nice little seedy Sanchez, although mine looks more like a 17 year old Italian kid's rather than the impressive Colonel Sanders handlebars i am aspiring for. You can donate to better research into Mens prostate Cancer and Depression by going to this page. ...

2006 Trek Madone 5.2SL Project One, 56cm with Shimano Ultegra groupset. I put approx 1500 miles on this one, and it's still in absolutely excellent condition. Stored inside always, never ridden in rain. Fast, powerful, smooth. Everything works beautifully, I just don't ride anymore. I also upgraded the handlebars and stem to top of the line carbon fiber ...
