I am having trouble finding grips for my early CT90 (1966). The handlebar diameter is 19mm or 3/4 inch. Every normal source I've tried only have grips that fit 22mm / 7/8 inch handlebars, the common size. I've tried e-bay, cmnsl, bike bandit, Ohio cycle, Western Hills Honda, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Obviously I could install later handlebars however, I would like to keep this bike ...

Remove all Advertisements Just curious what everyone is running as far as handlebar clamps. Seems like every time I go down its either the clamp itself twisting or the bolt that holds them to the triple clamp. I've looked around and don't really seem to see many options.

I have a 77 Tiger and the handlebar mounting bushes bushes need replacing (one side has been packed out with washes so the bars don't sit straight and it's annoying - I think I have OCD the bit that annoys me most is that the distance beyween the bars and the cloks is different & therefore not symmetrical...) I have seen some conversion kits that make the bars solid - is this a good idea?...

I recently purchased Salsa Goma handle bar tape and found that it attracts dirt which becomes ingrained below the surface and is impossible to clean with any of a variety of cleaners. Hey ever since i bought my quad its had a squeaky steering stem. Its coming from the mount right under the handlebar mount. Is there anything i can do to prevent this? I've done the WD-40 and silicone lube trix but it keeps comin back. I don't really think anything is wrong.. just a little dustay and i need a longer lasting fix then 20 mins.
